Spectrum Fingerprinting and Noise Floor Monitoring
Spectrum Fingerprinting and Noise Floor Monitoring are turn-key processes used to collect data that represents the spectrum as observed by a receiver on any frequency within an agreed-upon bandwidth over a 24-hour period. Once collected, the data is used to generate both Spectrum Reports and reports on each frequency within the bandwidth.

Spectrum Fingerprinting was designed for disorganized VHF frequency bands and other high-risk radio frequency (RF) environments. Intelligence gained through empirical data and qualified evaluation allows qdata to look closely at potential sources of interference, including low-level RF noise. It can identify what will impede coverage and operation, cause operational errors, and pinpoint vacancies in the spectrum. Once collected, the data is analyzed to determine the level of external noise and
interference present on subscriber-received frequencies in areas of poor performance.

IP Network Assessment Service
qdata’s IP Network Assessment service determines if a customer’s IP local area networks (LANs) and/or wide area networks (WANs) can support the addition of new services, data and applications upon interconnection with new broadband or wireless solutions, such as CRM, mobile order management, sales force automation, mobile commerce or location-based services. This service addresses the availability, performance, security, manageability, included in an assessment report provided to the customer at the conclusion of the service - along with recommendations for closing such gaps.

IP Network Design and Integration
qdata’s IP Network Design and Integration service addresses network management design and integration as well as middleware integration for new or legacy IP local area networks (LANs) and/or wide area networks (WANs). In addition, it addresses the availability and performance, security, manageability, interoperability and scalability of a customer’s IP LAN and/or WAN. This service is appropriate when current IP networks need to evolve to support new functionality resulting from the introduction of broadband wireless solutions and/or new applications.

qdata’s IP Network Design and Integration service also provides full staging of customers’ networking equipment to resolve “out-of-the-box” equipment faults and configure equipment prior to delivery and acceptance. Motorola’s staging process ensures equipment is completely inventoried, pre configured and tested, and that equipment or design problems are identified and resolved prior to pre-site installation - thus reducing on-site installation, integration and engineering time.

System Audit
qdata’s System Audit service collects the data necessary to evaluate customer’s existing wireless system components for possible future system enhancements. This service combines system documentation of the current equipment, software and ancillary components, including wide area wireless networks, local area wireless networks and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems with an analysis with recommendations for improvements. During this service, a Motorola Advanced Services consultant will audit the customer site for wireless technologies employed, equipment components, layouts, application of the wireless technologies, frequencies, power and software versions. This service is available over a wide array of scopes and complexities to suit most project management needs.
