The Remote Control Service for the Athena Device Management Suite is designed to provide IT and help desk support personnel with the tools to remotely take corrective action on a device by being able to see what the user sees, watch their interaction with the device, and if need be, take control over the device. There is however, more than just taking control of the device, you need to be able to do that effectively when connections to the device may not be the fastest i.e. WWAN connections. As such, the Remote Control Service was designed to have no impact on the devices performance and for high performance over low bandwidth; high latency networks and is the best performing remote control available on the market today.
