Doug Clark
Doug Clark is currently an independent consultant and technology advisor that specializes in providing direction on software advances and their appropriate implementation into organizations. He has extensive experience with computer software and has 27 years in the computer industry that includes 10 years working for Microsoft Corporation both in Canada and the United States (1990-2000).  Doug currently is on contract with Microsoft and provides services to Microsoft and its key partners on product marketing and presentation of Microsoft’s latest technologies to various audiences.

Prior to Microsoft, Doug spent 10 years (1980-1990) working for Olivetti Systems and Networks in sales management and product marketing, as well as Eaton’s Business Center as a sales manager and  representative selling computer solutions to small businesses.

He works with a number of technology companies as an advisor and is part of a strategic planning committee for early stage technology companies.

Doug is also active with community groups and is on the board of other organizations such as the Muskoka Ratepayers Association (Director), East Bay Cottagers Association (President), Kettles Association (Director). Recreationally, Doug spends time at the lake enjoying fishing, flying, and sailing.

 

Don Comish
Don graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Engineering and Business.  He has held a variety of sales and senior marketing and management positions at IBM as well as serving as the Director of Education and the General Manager of IBM’s independent business units.

Don has worked as the Managing Director of The DMR Institute and at Ernst & Young as the Toronto Director of Marketing. For the last ten years, Don has practiced as an independent consultant focusing on designing and implementing sponsorship/partner programs, and developing and effectively implementing employee and customer satisfaction measurements.

Don is actively involved with community organizations. This involvement included serving as the Chairman of the Ontario Arts Education Institute, Board Member and President of Young People’s Theater and Board Member and Chairman of Seneca College. Current involvement: Director, Muskoka Lakes Association and Board Chair, Lawrence Park Community Church.

Don and his wife Sue have 5 children and 10 grandchildren.

 

Greig Clark
Greig Clark is the Founding and Managing Partner of the Horatio Enterprise Fund, a venture capital fund that brings both management and money to  growth companies.  He also serves on the board of a number of small and medium sized companies.  He also served as the CEO of several of the portfolio companies in times of transition.  Most recently he was CEO from 2002 to 2006 of Arxx Walls and Foundations.

Greig is also known as one of Canada’s successful entrepreneurs.  He founded College Pro Painters in 1971 while attending university.  He grew it to $40million in sales, with 550 franchisees and over 4000 painters in 1989. He was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year in 1979 and Top Ten Entrepreneur of the Decade in 1990.  College Pro remains the largest residential painting company in the world today. He is also a writer for Profit Magazine – the Canadian  magazine for growth companies.

He lives in Toronto with his wife Carolyn and has 4 children and 2 stepchildren.

 

Larry Bunka

Larry Bunka is a Founder and President of Kinnock Associates Inc., a strategic management and marketing consulting firm with wide international experience in fortune 500 companies as well as start-up operations in Canada.

He has served as CEO for Canadian and American high technology companies faced with merger and restructuring challenges. Larry has provided strong strategically based direction balanced with a hands-on style for a number of companies with world wide revenues exceeding $200M US in sales.

His experience as a director began in the financial services industry and expanded to serving on the boards of eight technology companies in Europe, Canada and the United States. He has personally handled consulting assignments in strategy development, market research, distribution management and document handling processes.

Larry is an Alumnus of the Richard Ivey School of Business MBA program who started his professional career as an Economist. He lives in Toronto with his wife Marilyn and has five grown children.
