Carolyn Waldo turned her fear of water into a passion. She won her first world title at 17…It was her first of 6 world championship titles. She went onto win 2 gold medals at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul Korea becoming the first Canadian Female athlete to capture 2 gold medals at the same Olympic Games. She’s an Officer of the Order of Canada, a proud mother of 2 teenagers and a sports broadcaster at CTV Ottawa.

David Green is a 14 year Motorola veteran and the Senior Director of WW Channel Solutions Readiness and Solutions Alliances for Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility Solutions (EMS).  David leads two global teams focused on optimizing our solutions readiness programs and accelerates our speed to market, incorporating EMS products and services to drive revenue growth for EMS and our channel partners and improve customer satisfaction. The  global Strategic Alliances team responsible for managing Motorola’s strategic relationships with IBM Software Group, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce.Com, Zebra, Avaya, O’Neil and other major high tech firms worldwide.  These companies collaborate with Motorola on joint selling, marketing and technology development.  By working closely with these companies, Motorola EMb has leveraged its global reach and trusted advisor status at major corporations, thereby providing more value to its customers and partners.  Additionally, the EMS Global Solutions Centers program supports solution-based new business among our sales and partner communities.  The EMS Global Solution Center has served hundreds of partners since 2006 for software validation and solution readiness programs that build critical delivering market ready solutions efficiently by cost out of our channel, through and driving product readiness.

Jeff Lem
President, qdata

Jeff Lem is the President and co-founder of qdata. Since qdata's inception in 1993, he has worked on hundreds of bar coding projects ranging from small five person operations to Fortune 500 companies. He has written extensively on this topic for the media and has presented at trade shows and industry events. He currently serves on the Schulich Toronto Alumni Council, the Toronto board of Entrepreneurial Organization (a world wide membership of business owners).

Jeff has a BBA and MBA degrees from the Schulich School of Business at York University. The married father of three resides in Richmond Hill, is an avid cyclist, triathlete, and hockey player.

John Rommel

John Rommel is a eighteen year Auto ID veteran who has spent nine of those years focused on RFID.  He has guided the installation of numerous RFID projects at places such as the Boeing, Raytheon, the Seattle Public Library, and Mattel.  At Motorola he is responsible for shaping the company’s RFID go-to-market strategy by managing the firm’s vast network of RFID resellers and developing Motorola’s partner ecosystem.

Michael is responsible for the development of qdata's Portable Intelligence smart phone software business. Portable Intelligence delivers the power of many line of business applications to as little as a single customer facing employee using the P.i. smart phone or ipad application. Michael brings over 17 years of business development, channel sales and mobile application consulting experience to qdata. His previous experience includes work with companies such as Rogers Communications, Research In Motion, Rhythms Canada and Bell Mobility. He also is the President and founder of social media software developer Burned Media Ltd, operator of the social music network www.hypster.com.
